First photo I'm posting on CC, and I know it's nowhere near as perfect as most of the cakes on this site, but I got the inspiration for this cake while browsing for hours on this site. Fondant with fondant accents and chocolate plaque "topper" with edible Scooby attached to it. The little decorative beads are gumballs (thought I'd save some time and make it fun for the kids).
