This is a mystery cake designed around "The Case of the Pilfered Pooch." A dog was stolen from a dog show and the kids had to solve the case. I used clues based on the storyline of the skit and hid the dog in the dog house on the top of the cake. Clues, dog and question marks are all MMF. Cake is chocolate with BC icing. The house on top is card board covered in fondant. This design was very challenging since I didn't have anything to go by, but definitely one of my favorite cakes and it was a HUGE hit at the birthday party. The kids loved finding the hidden dog on the cake after solving the case.
