My son's cake lady had to back out at the last minute due to being called out of town for work. To save his future in-laws money, he decided we were going to make and decorate the cake ourselves. I was immediately filled with dread, but could not talk him out of it. Ha! This gave me a week to self teach myself a crash course on cake decorating! I bought the tools and supplies and made the flowers, but my son and husband took over the project. As it turned out my son really did want to make the cake afterall. lol It was such a hit, that I have caught the cake decorating fever! Where has this craft been all of my life?! :0)
