This is a last minute Mario Kart inspired cake covered in red MMF. I tried my hand at carving so that the hat had a bit of shape, I should have carved more but I was too afraid! The Mario on the car and trophy are toys. I am a CSM so critiques are more than welcome. TFL.

CSM: Looks good to me, a little rippley, but that may be the way it's supposed to look, I'm not too familiar with Mario-the trophy stand is a nice touch.

CSM: Looks great! Like kjt said though it looks a little lumpy.

CSM: Not too shabby for not wanting to pull an all-nighter! :D I think your carving is fine. (Don't be afraid to slice off more, if you feel you need to, next time.) The shape of Mario's hat is really like it should be. I like the trophy with the M on it and the "road" way/grass. Seems like your had would ache aftter growing all that grass! :D

CSM: I think it looks awesome- I love how you finished it shiny and how the hat has character- great touch using a road and the grass

CSM: Nice Mario hat! Good Job!

Superjob! I see that the had is perfect and as is everything else. The only comment I would say is the stand for the trophy is a bit titled on the bottom on the right hand side. Again super job

CSM: Great job!! I love the presentation!! My only suggestion would be that the emblem could have been a little neater.

CSM: one would never know this was a last minute cake. I think you did a great job on the carving, it does add alot more shape to the cake. other than the ripples the others mentioned, I have no other critique! (I can only imagine how cramped your hand was after all that grass!)

CSM: super cute. Great job overall.

CSM: Other than a few lumps on the hat (which "could" be from wear and tear ) I really like this cake!

CSM: I think the few bumps and lumps adds character to the hat! I absolutely love your board , the whole presentation is fantastic. :)

CSM: Love it! I love the red! Excellent for a last minute cake. Maybe more of an angle to the "hat" like the one Mario is wearing but other than that, perfect.

CSM: very nice cake. I have to agree the fondant looks a little ripply/lumpy. Perhaps it was rolled too thin??? Overall, nice cake!
