Cake inspired by MsCheeks's similar cake (only her's was better!) and many thanks to her help and guidance and simply listening to my frustrations lol. I tried to follow her design with fondant covered lid but my fondant wouldn't cooperate so in a last minute decision i went with butcher paper covered cardboard (i had to make the lid too! lol) Cake was half triple chocolate fudge and half carrot, with cream cheese filling and white chocolate buttercream. the donuts were a big hit with his fellow police officers. for those that cant read the expression it says "Retirement-world's longest coffee break!" thanks to my son Austin for his contribution in finding it onilne for me! lol.
