Wow! I bet he loved it. How did you make the mountains? Is it stacked and carved layers?

It is stacked and carved. The front smaller hills were peices I had carved off the large mountain. It was a huge cake, the base was 2 feet square and it stood about 2 feet high. Thanks for looking at it!
