wedding/anniversary cake

This was my frist (and probably only!) wedding cake. My brother got eloped in California and came home (Maryland) on their 1st anniversary for a "reception." I surprised him, and everyone else by making this wedding cake. It was a cake full of firsts for me too... first wedding cake, first teired cake, first roses...

the stressful part for me was the drive to the reception! But, I also knew that no one was counting on me.. no one even knew I was making it, so I thought that if I botched it really bad I just wouldn't bring it and no one would be the wiser. But thank you all fo ryour nice comments!
