This a camaro and road cake that I made for my husbands 36th Bday. When placing the car onto the road.. It made a wrong turn.....the front end FELL OFF!! the supports didnt hold and... well I cried. it took me 5 days to make this cake... It was key lime with coconut& lime cream cheese filling, carrot cake with cream cheese, and the car was chocolate with white chocolate chips. 5 9x13 cakes total were used. 3 alone on the car. everything was edible...except the wheels... after the crash, i spent soo much time fixing damage to make wheels ..so i borrowed some from one of his models....LOL the road was the wilton flag cake pan I used marshmellow fondant for the first time.. dont think i will use it again for a 3-d type cake.... that was part of the roll over crash cause!
