Homemade cupcake tower with white choc. sour cream filled with raspberry buttercream and iced with vanilla buttercream. Cake is Red velvet cake with cream cheese icing. Gumpaste stars except for ones on purple cupcakes, those are poured sugar.
The stars are gumpaste except for the blue ones on the purple cupcakes. They are poured sugar. I did it like you do sugar ice but tinted it and once it firmed up a little I cut it with a cookie cutter so when it was hard I could break it out easily. Only wish the colors of the purple and pink icing showed better, it is a bright pink and a vivid purple actually.
