I made this cake for a little 3 year old boy who was fascinated with Sponge Bob. It turned out great except for one thing. I thought with the cake being only about 4 inches wide that it would do fine without dowl rods.... WRONG... it used to be about 3 inches taller. Always use dowl rods no matter how heavy you think the cake will be... lol They loved it anyway...
