First cake in the 4.5 mo hiatus I've had to take from my blown knee. I made the bow out of gumpaste, the ribbon and bow runners are fondant. The center piece was made from gumpaste that i used a shot glass to help mold and form a cup. I used 8mm silver beads as this was a decoration only piece and never touched the cake with 4mm white pearl beads in the center. I used royal icing as the blue and then brushed everything with dust to make it sparkle. Fondant ribbon for 1st & 2nd tier cracked all to pieces when putting the cake together so I made exec. decision and used the rose petals. All in all not a bad turn out.
