Caking While Running
The Monument Ave 10K is a rite of Spring in Richmond. My brother-in-law ran it for the first time on his 32nd birthday, so I decided to make a birthday cake to commemorate his first race. I ran the race in the morning, assembled the cake as soon as I got home and made it to his party with moments to spare. This cake is a depiction of the course, up and down Monument Ave. The yellow and red running sun head was the race emblem this year
