M&M Skateboard

A few weeks ago at a local cake club meeting, I learned how to build an internal cake structure out of pvc pipe, and couldn't wait to try it. My nephews said they wanted two M&M's on a skateboard for their party, so I decided to go for it. It does not look nearly as good in reality as it did in my head, but I got it done and everyone was impressed at the party. Lots of first on this - first time making and using modeling chocolate for the bodies, I used Sugarveil for the paint splatters, pvc pipe internal structure, and we got to use power tools to build the stand.
