We have such a beautiful rose stained glass window in our church that I decided for our church history celebration luncheon this Sunday, I would recreate that window on a sheet cake. And here is what I made. Basic yellow cake, french vanilla buttercream, covered in fondant. The window was hand painted with food coloring and alcohol. The words were painted on and also the stained glass border.
