This cake was definitely a learning experience. First time using chocolate ganache (cheftaz's recipe). It was great, but I should have let it cool a little more before applying it to the cake. The glaze I used for the fruit was too thin, and ran down the sides of the cake. I also had my first ever blow out--I think. In the end the birthday girl loved it, and that is all that mattered.
