My very first fondant cake. Making the bow and ribbon was easy compared to covering that cake with fondant. I have better luck using shorting/crisco than using cornstarch or confect sugar, so the fondant will not stick. I think the cornstarch drys it out faster. At the time my little girl was under 1 and I had a bad habbit of leaving the fondant uncovered. Now, I sat her up with me and give her a small amount of fondant to play with.
