Ava's Birthday Cake
My friend wanted a makeup themed cake for her girl that loves RED. So I made her this make up bag, it's an oval cake, covered in red fondant. The makeup items are made out of sugarpaste and same with the pencils, rope and hair brush. The bristles on the brush are flower stamens stuck into black sugarpaste.

Cut out the main brush shape out of pink flower paste, with a scalpel i hollowed out a bit at the top to fit the black soft brush part. The top part is made out of black flowerpaste, it's slightly rounded. I then insterted plastic ended flower stamens(with one end cut off). Took lots of time to do, but it was fairly easy.
