MY first fondant cake. 12, 10, 9 and 6. Poundcake with raspberry filling and buttercream. I was going for an embroidery finish but unfortunately I couldn't lay my fondant without tearing so I just had to put pieces of fondant together (the only "whole piece" fondant covered cake is the 3rd tier which was my first try and it didn't turn out well so I had to cover it with petals). SO I guess I just had to go with the drapery-like finish. The flowers are made of gumpaste. Thanks for looking!

gee I kinda like it! It's differnt and unique. I think you did a great job. I dont care for working with fodant so great job for you!

You are a total natural. You could walk that cake into any venue and present it as a deliberate design and they would never question it!
