The shower's theme was a luau. The basinette made of gum paste palm tree leaves contained a buttercream monkey face under a fondant blanket, all suspended from the gum paste palm tree. The cake was chocolate filled with coconut cream filling, iced in tan buttercream garnished with graham cracker crumbs for sand and chocolate rocks.
