I've been making these cupcakes ever since seeing them in a magazine article back in 1996. I tweaked them a tiny bit, but they're pretty much as they appeared in the magazine. The head is a large gumdrop and the wings are chocolate wafer cookies (Nabisco brand) cut in half. Easiest things in the world to make!
