Buttercream iced topsy turvy cake with Jack and Sally figures on top. I made the archway out black pipe-cleaners wrapped around heavier gauge wire. The center pin-striped tier is supposed to represent Jack's suit. The pinstripes are made from black fondant. The buttercream patchwork crazy quilt tier is inspired by Sally's dress. This was my first topsy turvy cake. Wow! It was a lot of work!
