This was for our towns 150th birthday. The roadrunner is RKT painted with candymelts- my sister painted it for me. The cake is a 1/2 sheet plus half of a 12" round. The filling is fresh strawberries and cream. All details on the cake are fondant. The board is a plywood sheet 28 x 24 covered with contact paper and real terracotta tiles. I used sticky dots to attach the tiles as the customer wanted to be able to reuse the tile. The sidewalk is fondant. The dirt is brown sugar and silk flowers airbrushed.

CSM: Very nicely done! I love how you incorperated all the elemets...in particular your road runner is great! Critique wise I would have photographed the cake by itself, so it did not have to compete with all the back ground stuff.

CSM: great job, the roadrunner is great, (though his feet look a bit big, but I am certainly no expert on birds!) The only other thing that sticks out for me, is that the panels on the front don't seem to match up quite right (and that is nit picking)

CSM: I think your roadrunner is just awesome! What a cool idea to paint it with chocolate melts! I agree about the feet, but that is minor. I love the board- very creative.

CSM: I don't know much about roadrunners, but he sure looks like one proud bird! The tiles look great on the cake board-this must have weighed a ton. I imagine your cakes just about made the celebration!

CSM - this cake a just wonderful. Love your board and your road runner. The white piping on the sides is very straight and looks great.

CSM: Like all of it. I think if the feet were smaller, he'd fall over!! It's very cool how you worked in all the details. Really can't pick on any of it!! :D

CSM: I think this came out great. I wish I could see more details on the Roadrunner, but it sure looks cute. Love all the board details!

CSM: WOW! The board had to take as much time as making the cake... Your Roadrunn is awesome. I agree about your cake having to compete will all the background stuff, but it's beautiful! Nice job.
