So this was for my boyfriends friend that worked with him at the fire department for 6 years and was moving away. So never making a cake like this before I thought it would be nice to make him something as a going away cake. Let me tell you this took me and my boyfriend 2 days to make. Overall, all the guys at the station were shocked and my boyfriends best friend that was moving was in awww. None of them have ever seen a cake like this. We added 2 wooden stoppers to the cake and I added the blue on top since he was a paramedic. Although we will miss him at our station the cake will always be remembered lol...As far as this being my first cake I dont think we did to bad...After it sat most of the day it started to droop in places. If anyone has any pointers I would love to hear or comments
