This is my son's second b-day cake. He loves cars, but we had too many people come to just do the Wilton pan, so I added a 9x13 underneath and decorated it as a checkered flag. I was pressed for time, so it's not as good as I would have liked (especially the tires), but I didn't want the white sides and was going for a more 3D look than just a Lightning McQueen picture on top of a white frosted cake.
