Thanks for all the great comments! When I did this I was very worried about the color scheme. I wanted to capture the feel of the book, but I didn't want it quite so dark. I was very pleased with colors in the end. The characters are mostly FBCT, but I wanted them a little more 3-D so I did them without hands, and piped on the eyes, facial hair, buttons, teeth & claws after I had it on the cake. I almost forgot to add the teeth, and I *did* forget the tails, but nobody ever noticed. :wink:

This has got to be one of the greatest kids' books of all time and you captured the "feel" of the book perfectly. What a great idea! I would hate to cut into this cake..lol.
