When you open this book, you are welcomed to a very strange land! A round little egg-like man appears to be perched precariously on a wall, and an old woman lives in a shoe! There are mice that love to run up clocks , and tuffets with spilled curds and whey. The spider (who caused the spill!) and the mouse both have a small motors in them that make them move. All edible - no styrofoam!

I made my own stand like they do on food network challenge out of pvc and two boards (the first board is under the book, the second board is under the clock, and the pvc pipe runs through the boot and hlds the whole thing together!). Everything you see is edible - all of it is fondant over cake except the boot which is fondant over rice krispies treats. Also the best thing about this cake is that the spider and the mouses tail move! Both have tiny little clock motors imbedded in the cakes!

That is amazing! What a brilliant idea! I would love to do something moving like this for my grandson, he would just go nuts over it. He loves 3D cakes. He even made Garfield in 3D himself, he is 8 years old.

Love the cake. It looks fantastic. And on a side note, I also love your nickname. It cracked me up pretty good when I read it.
