All buttercream-Sorry for the picture quality. I made this cake for my namesake. All of the shells ,with the exception of the ones inside the stands, are made with candy melts and painted with pearl dust. The sand is raw sugar covering the table and I wrote Renee loves Mack in the "sand" TFL
