What icing did you use? They look great, I love the colors! I looked all over that website and can't find the chocolate sugar cookie recipe. Can you point us in the right direction?? Thanks,
It's the Royal Icing for Decorated Cookies recipe I posted on this site. The cookie recipe is at www.kitchengifts.com, from the Home Page scroll down 2/3 of page to the big olive green box on the right hand side. The top category reads "Recipes: Need Cookie and Icing Recipes?", click on that and it's the recipe called "Chocolate Rolled Cookies".
Beautiful & inspiring! I just picked up that set of alphabets & numbers from the thrift store for $2. Just made my first really successful sugar cookies last week. They always used to frustrate me so. Now I can do them & chocolate looks yummy!
You can even make block alphabet letters looks FANTASTIC. You are an amazing person. Thank you so much for sharing your talents with everyone. You inspire all of us.
I outline the cookies if they are a difficult shape...letters, animals, curvy shapes...but I don't outline anymore for shapes that are easier to pipe. (It is all explained in the cookie tutorial...out SOON I hope??) The colours I use are Wilton and Americolor.
