For my brother in law and his wife's baby shower. Between the canned frosting, the pointy star tips and the color it is not one of my favorite cakes. I've learned alot since then, but still have a ways to go.
If people are going to post pictures of perfectly good-looking cakes in the disaster gallery, where does that leave me, who would be thrilled to make a cake with even handwriting and symmetrical borders?
Thanks for the nice comments. The cake was supposed to have blocks on it, but they fell apart. In this picture you can't tell, but the cake isn't level and the corners sank really bad. The even writing was from using the Wilton letter press. :D
I moved it out of the disaster gallery after the nice comments. I guess it is one of those times when you have such bad memories of making something that in your mind it is a disaster.
