The entire cake was sculpted, then covered with fondant. The floor was covered in strips of "woodgrain" fondant planks; the tablecloth was painted with luster dust to bring out the embossed roses on it; all accents were either done with fondant or gumpaste; the liquid in the cup was tinted piping gel.
