I made this for my best friend's fiancee on his 40th. It was the first time I made a cake for someone other than my family. They were pleased, but they know I'm a true novice. The cake is chocolate, and the icing is cream cheese. At the last minute I fashioned a cardboard triangle to imprint the diamond pattern on the icing.
