Butterflies & Flowers

This cake is based on a previous cake I had done for my daughter's 1st b-day. It is from the 2004 Wilton Book. The butterflies are made from fondant. All else is buttercream.

Your writing is really neat...any tips? I don't even try to write on cakes--I'm so bad at it :oops: .

Thank you. It's an ancient Chinese secret! Actually, I cannot take credit for it. I'm horrible at too. It is a Make-Any-Message Letter Press Set. You can get them in block or italic. The one I used was italic.

Very nice! I've thought about getting that lettering set myself. I can do longhand easily enough but printing is another story. And sometimes it'd just fit better to print. Good job!
