Absolutely beautiful! Be careful though, if you sell these types of cakes that are based on designer bags, etc., it is copywrite infringement. These companies have watchdogs out there

You know, somebody said something along that line today, and I didn't believe it was true. Thanks so much for the advice and the compliments

Thanks... The customer just told me that her mother actually took a bite off the lipstick! And the mom actually thought here children had saved money to buy her a Chanel bag ;-)

Lol, your cake look like so much fun, but also a lot of hard work. How long does it take you?
kistocap 3/23/05 at 6:46am
what kind of pan, how did you do that. It's great

I just baked 2 9x13 cakes, cut them in half, torted, and then carved the edges to give it a rounder edge. I then created the top of the cake with the sides I cut off...It didn't take long to shape...Covering it with the black fondant did, as it was too soft and was tearing everytime I tried to put it over...So I had to cover it in halves...The rest, probably took me an hour to finish... Thanks to all for your compliments.
