This was for a 2nd birthday. This year's theme was stripes and polka dots. If you have viewed the ladybug cake I posted, this is for that same little girl. The mom always gives me free reign to create and try new things. The bottom layer was strawberry cake maserated with strawberry juice with a strawberry/creamcheese puree filling. The top layer was a chocolate/ white choc. chip cake with a peanut butter and mascarpone cheese filling. Wow! A fabuously rich combo!
