My son and his bride-to-be finally decided on a wedding cake...Blooming Branches from Martha Stewart's Wedding Cakes. It is a beautiful cake, covered with branches of cherry blossoms. This is my first attempt at making those branches of blossoms. :) I think thicker branches, pink in the center instead of yellow, not so much cupping on the petals, and stamens in the center are needed. Other than that (:D) I think they turned out pretty good. TFL!

your branches are perfectly delicate. I have seen alot of cherry blossom cakes and I always fiind that the branches are too thick. your's are perfect. overall, it is perfect!!

I agree, my first ones ended up thicker and they look cartoonish or something. Yours are perfect the way they are!
