Patent Leather Baby Shoes

My second pair of freehand shoes. Tried to get the patent leather look. The picture is not so great because the bottoms of the shoes are the same color as the plate they were sitting on.

I think you achieved the patent leather look quite well - I would never have known they were edible! What did you use to make them so glossy?

Thank You! I actually just painted them with some thinned down gumpaste glue which made them quite sticky but they dried with a shine

Great idea! I love them. My daughter had a pair of shoes that looked just like these about 20 years ago.

These are incredible! I thought that they were real shoes! You did an amazing job! They remind me of a pair of shoes that I had for my daughter when she was little. So sweet! :D
