Yes, they were buttercream lines. I pressed them in a little when piping them on so that they wouldn't stand out so much; they were kind of flattened. I used a very long skewer to make markers on the sides to attempt to keep them level. ;-D

Thanks! I used the Red spray color. It never looks actually red, so it worked well for this.
