The flowers are mums and I made them in royal icing on the flower nail. Make a base of icing about the diameter of a dime and about 1/2 inch tall. Use a tip 81 and hold it at a 45 degree angle to the base with the tip sticking into the base with the opening in the shape of a smile. Squeeze as you bring the tip to the outside edge of the nail, pulling slightly up as you stop squeezing. The next row is slightly shorter and the next even shorter. The Wilton website has pics!
