Customer ordered this for her four year old. MMF used with buttercream design work and cake sparkles to give the skirt a "shimmery" effect. This was my first doll cake.

This is wonderful, but how would I go about making this myself.
evey - it was very simple....I love MMF! Which part are you wanting pointers on? The bottom layer is 12" and I just put the MMf on it and did the icing embroidery for the flowers and tiny Pink MMF flowers in the centers with a rope border/ The skirt and bodice of the dress is MMF also and then I just piped the decoration on and sprinkled on the sparkles...HTH!!
