I made this cake for my dad. His birthday is on Halloween. Every year he gets a German chocolate cake because that is his favorite and no one else in the family likes it. So with that being said...he only gets it once a year. Anyway it used to be a joke about how old he is getting with us four girls trying to keep him young and up with the changing times.
