This is a one of two cakes that I did for twin 5 year old boys. They were having a "reptile" birthday party and so this is what I came up with. Butter yellow cake w/ butter-cream filling and iced in butter-cream. The sand was grahm cracker and sanding sugar. RI cactus, and all other detail work was done in fondant.
