This is my nephew's 1st Birthday Cake. Gum Paste baby and blanket. Mini bundt cakes sandwiched together formed the pumpkins. The barrel is 2-9" round cakes.
The cake itself is the WASC recipe from Recipe Zaar. I substituted a boatload of mini chocolate chips for the almond extract on account of allergies.
The leaves are all gum paste and under the leaves is a layer of crushed up twix (my brother and his wife's favorite candy bar). The cake is iced in butterscotch icing.
This is my favorite cake to date!
