After I saw the cost of the cupcake stands at the SIGEP show...I priced plexiglass....and made this stand for under $50.00....it is 3 tiers seperated by clear plexi glass rods that are drilled,tapped and bolted with stainless steel grade 5 bolts. It will hold roughly 50 cupcakes. this stand was designed for a single event to showcase 75 oval shaped mini cakes for a breast cancer event. It will be paired with one additional stand. The lettering is traditional 22K gold leaf.

Wow. that looks like a lot of work. Where did you get the plexi rods? I've seen the sheets but never the rods.

Estreetplastics was the site....they have both the colored plexi and the rods

omg amazing. can u make this for someone? we are stationed in korea, not the easiest place to get supplies. awesome.
