Confetti Fondant
This is a birthday cake I did for two people at work. I was very disappointed with the way it turned out--luckily they loved it. I am supposed to send a pic of this cake to a possible wedding cake client, but I'm almost embarrassed to do so. Funny how the camera magnifies the flaws!
hmmm....I can't see anything wrong with it. I think it's pretty.
This is really a beautiful cake. How did you get the "confetti" look? Are the contrasting fondant swirls laid on top or did you roll them into the fondant?
What flaws???? If we can't see any, the client won't either. It's lovely; send the pic.
The "confetti" is thin strips of pink and blue fondant rolled into the chocolate fondant. Thanks for the positive comments--I needed that!
