In album: rose
I did this cake for practice for a wedding coming up in a couple of weeks. It was my first time with fondant. I used fake flowers for this one, but the real cake will be real roses. Any suggestions on how to make real roses stick to the cake?

great job, flower spikes - wilton sell or your local florist - not too much in them so they will not leak.

GORGEOUS!!! How did you get the rounded edges or did you use specific pans?

Thank you all for such nice comments, it really gave me a boost! I used regular round pans and trimmed just a little bit off of the edges at an angle so that the cake would have that rounded look.

Very nice, I have my first wedding cake coming up here that looks very similar to this one. How did you get the silk flowers to stick? And in turn how did you get the real flowers on the cake?
