I've been wanting to try a mini tiered cake and this is my first attempt. My pile o' flowers tendency resurfaced on this one. :| I also wanted to try Fondarific -- this is buttercream flavor and, to me, it tastes just like candy corn. Now I just need to find an itty bitty turntable and fondant smoother. Thanks for looking. I'm a Critique Subgroup Member.

CSM: this is a very cute design but, in my opinion, everything is a bit too much for the size of the cake-t looks a little busy. wonderful work on your flowers

Pretty cake. What is Fondarific?

Love the flowers--and your border. What is Fondarific?

Thanks, ladies. Fondarific is a new fondant with lots of flavors and colors (made in Savannah, Georgia). You can find them at www fondarific com. It's yummy!

CSM: For me, the flowers are a bit overbearing. To me mini cakes are tiny, petite and delicate, and the flowers are too big for that look. Though I have to say the flowers themselves are very nicely done, as is the topper!

I love the color combo you've got going on as well as the flowers. I don't care for the large flowers on the itty bitty cake...too busy. Also there are a few beads in your border that went haywire. This cake makes me think of fall.

CSM: I realy like your flowers and think you did a great job with the fondant covering. I like your borders too and think you did a great job on a mini cake but I think if all the flowers (which are lovely btw) were half the size it would "fit" better for the size of this cake. Overall great job! :)

CSM: I agree with the previous opinions about the size of the flowers.Just wanted to say that I love the topper :)

CSM: Ooh I loves those rich colors! Very nice mums too, although I think there are too many of them, perhaps leaving the tiers with the scrolls and only using the flowers for the topper would have been better.

CSM: I do love the flowers. They look ceramic. The leaves are great as well. The top tier is too big for the bottom tier. Overall, the colors are perfectly Fall!

CSM: Cute little cake. I agree that only putting flowers on top would have been better. I love the mums, mind PMing me how to make them?

Thank you.

CSM: I think the flowers look too big for the cake... I like the scroll work though, and I can't imagine how hard it would be to cover a tiny cake like this in fondant, but you did a great job with that!!

CSM: i really like this. It reminds me of those limoges boxes? The size of the flowers don't really bother me - it's a tiny cake! Love the top especially.
