This is my first purse cake. Someone asked me if I could make one for her 16 y.o. daughter, so wanted to complete dry run before saying yes. I have never "carved" a cake to shape before now. Its a basic yellow cake with a buttercream icing, covered in fondant. You can't tell from the pictures, but there is "stitching" on the black fondant seams. I am pretty psyched about how it looked.
