Adapting a design I'd seen here on CakeCentral, I made a three tiered cake for my mom's 50th birthday sock hop. This was my first real cake (aside from the practice cakes I made in Wilton classes.). The bottom tier (10in) was chocolate with peanutbutter filling and the two top tiers (6in, 8in) were WASC with lemon buttercream filling. Everyone asked me where I got it and I was pleased to say "in my kitchen."
