Thanks for the compliments. I used craft moulds for the shells and sea creatures :D Some are hand shaped.

Its so cute!! what size cake pans did you use?

I used 9", 8" and 7" round pans. The next time I make this. I will use only 9" and 7" with more batter for 9" so the cake is tall enough.

Can i ask how you anchored the mermaid so she didn't tip over??

Thanks, amisds. The mermaid is a doll which was inserted into the cake. The cake is deep enough that the doll will not tumble.
