This was a 12x12 square cake with a nine inch layer on top and a small dome shaped cake on the very top. All of the animals were hand made from fondant. The river was tinted piping gel. The dirt was crumbled oreos and the palm trees were pretzel sticks with leaves made of royal icing. This was the first time I had ever worked with fondant. The cake was for my grandson's 1st birthday.
